Available now for pre-order and going for $122 is this pair of Adidas ZX700 Boat shoes. This particular version sports an aluminum-colored upper constructed from suede, along with yellow accents on the heel panel. The toebox sports a moccasin style, while the upper sits a top a white midsole.

Perhaps helped most by being the high-flying NBA star Vince Carter’s signature shoe, this sneaker’s popularity grew quickly alongside the memorable string of Nike “boing” commercials. Fans of the shoe will be ecstatic to hear that the original Nike Shox BB4 in its Black/Metallic Silver-Lapis colorway will receive retro treatment nine years later.
Part of 2008’s Influencer Pack, the digital camouflage that appeared on Nitro Microphone Underground’s Air Force 1 Supreme popped up again on Nitraid’s Nike SB Dunk Mid Elite. 10 years isn’t a golden anniversary, but Nitro is back with a new Nike Air Force 1 High for the occasion. It contrasts metallic gold with black on black elephant print and the effect is quite striking.
To the disappointment of many, we are sad to report that the eagerly anticipated U.S. release of the McFly edition of the Nike Hypermax has apparently been cancelled. The shoe was slated to drop this weekend alongside the Tennis Ball Hypermax NFW. The Tennis Ball version will still hit stores, but the McFly has been scratched, reportedly because of legal issues with Universal Studios, who owns the rights to the Back to the Future franchise.
The Air Jordan Spizike was one of Jordan Brand’s more successful hybrids, and is slated to make its return in this bred colorway on February 27,2010. They will feature a classic colorway, consisting of a predominantly black nubuck upper along with red and grey accents. Typically we see netting on the side panels inspired by the Air Jordan 5 (V)’s, but this time around, it has been replaced with the mesh seen on the Air Jordan 4 (IV).

Laser-etched ABCs are here to stay. So says Nike with this latest release of Blazer Mid Premium NDs. These go hard in black, a mix of leather and suede contrasted by a white midsole-toe. Purple laces reinforce its dark leanings, but there’s a twinkle in the black that deserves another look. Though the characters are etched in dark purple, they really liven up and add brightness to this design.
A new colorway of the Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) in Girl’s Sizes (GS) has been released and this new one features a colorway that many would argue is strikingly similar to the various Staple “Pigeon” sneakers including the upcoming New Balance x Staple M575J. The official colorway is Cool Grey, Infared, and Neutral Grey where the upper uses the two different shades of Grey and accents it with Infared.
Last night, we whet your appetites with a look at what’s to come from Jordan Brand in 2010, and now it’s time to drop perhaps the biggest bombshell yet. In the tradition of recent releases like the Countdown and Defining Moments Packs, another accomplishment from Michael’s career will be honored next year with the Slam Dunk Pack. The pack will contain both pairs of kicks that Mike wore when winning back to back Slam Dunk Contest titles in 1987 and 1988.
Luxury brand Lanvin has produced quite the collection of shoes over the past several months. The Parisian fashion house is doing an incredible job incorporating that chic designer quality into otherwise simple sneaker silhouettes. In this particular low top trainer, patent leather and patchwork suede come together to create a beauty not unlike the pair of shoes First Lady Obama received flak for wearing earlier this year.
Through our observations, it seems as if more and more brands are tapping into the Chukka market. Just think about it for a minute. Yep, it’s a lot of brands getting down with the Chukka model. We know the rich kids will snatch up a pair of the BBC (Billionaire Boys Club) Chukka’s with the logo pattern once they hit BBC retailers this month.

Every sneaker company from here to Mars has jumped on the chukka bandwagon this year. ALIFE may have done them one better with this latest design. Not only are they on Fabolous’ feet in the latest Complex magazine, but the ALIFE Chukka Toxic is undeniably fresh, irrespective of any hype. 
Asics has really stepped up their game as of late, and this new Gel Lyte Speed model will help keep the momentum rolling. The classic running shoe has been given one of its freshest looks yet, using different shades of grey for the upper, including sections of reflective 3M material. Obviously, though, the standout feature of these kicks is the red and white striped “barber pole”
Here is another collection from the Fall 2009 PUMA line. Dubbed the “Raps,” these Clydes have a mix of regular and patent leather. The patent features a spotted paint pattern similar to the YO! MTV Raps logo, however these don’t seem to be part of the PUMA x YO! MTV Raps collection being that these do not feature such tags found on other products of the collection.
Another installment of the Vans City Pack has surfaced and from the trend the releases have started, each pack will be dedicated to Vans place of origin, California. The first pack was for San Francisco and soon, Los Angeles will be getting some Off the Wall releases as well.
The collegiate inspired Vandal features a patent leather upper and perforated mesh sockliner. Also, the midpanel features maize stripes similar to those of the Michigan football helmets and a 72′ is also seen in varsity print on the strap to signify the birth of the Swoosh.
Customizer, Brad Douglas, reveals his new custom in the form of a Blazer SB. Named “7-Ply” to reference the skateboard inspiration, the shoe’s characteristics imply that which is vital to skaters. The upper features lasered wood grain leather- a similar look to the Michael Lau Gardener Dunk SB’s- along with grip tape as accents.
Vans is putting together quite a collection for release this fall of 2009. Aside from the Herringbone Pack anticipated by many, we are now receiving word from our friends at Weekly Drop that a collection of Slip-On’s referred to as the “Mega Check” Pack will include pairs in solid, vibrant colors including red, purple, and green with what appears a large checkered pattern by the heel of every shoe.
Jay-Z was spotted in Los Angeles this past weekend eating at what seems like is his favorite restaraunt in LA, Katsuya, where he was seen leaving in a pair of fresh Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Louis Vuitton Don’s in Grey and White. It’s well-documented that the idea of Air Jordan Fusions is a touchy subject with a lot of sneakerheads, but in this case, some of you might have a slightly better reaction to this latest Air Jordan hybrid. This remote controlled Camaro has been customized to take on the characteristics of the Fire Red Air Jordan III, from the layout and color-blocking, right down to some panels of Elephant print wrapping around the hood and trunk areas.
Nike Basketball continues to find inspiration at the movies. Earlier this summer, the BB crew released the Transformers Pack, a collection that borrowed cues from Transformers II. This Nike Hyperize Mid “Destro” immediately draws comparisons to Destro, the villain in the latest G.I. Joe flick. ‘Stro’s silver mask is mirrored by the shoe’s shiny silver patent front, while his black/red/gold make’s up the rest of the Hyperize’s upper.
Beckham and Bond bring us 2 hot designs for the adidas O by O campaign with their ZV8000. We have seen the Blue version already but the shoe of interest this time are the yellow ones. Done up in yellow suede with an orange paneled underlay and a black sole these are bright as can be and if thats not glowing enough for you check the 3M detailing.
Looking at colorways and concepts behind some of these kicks really makes a guy ponder his childhood. While this shoe was actually available in the 80s the lunchbox was not and everybody knows a good lunchbox is worth its weight in lunch. The Air Jordan J Man Pack is in GS sizes only and features the blue/black Jordan Casual sneaker. This is a sneaker collectors dream and its not that limited either.
Asics has been on the scene for a long time, but as of late their become even more popular because of their well-like Gel Lyte III silhouette. The pair shown here has been dubbed the Black Ice, as they sport a predominantly black leather upper along with black ice-colored mesh accents.
The Simpsons is the only show on before 11:30pm that’s been around for more than 20 years. Their 22nd season starts in mid-fall and Nike has used Matt Groening’s distinctive style as a jump-off for another design. The Nike Dunk High pictured above throws a dark navy blue overlay atop a yellow leather upper, the rear of which features hexagonally-patterned perforations.
