Jeff Staple didn’t even need a booth this year to make one of the biggest statements at the recent Bread and Butter tradeshow. He was seen roaming around in an all white version of the “Pigeon” New Balance 575’s that he designed a while back. If you remember, the original version had a dark grey upper, so as soon as people spotted these, speculation began over whether or not they were just a sample or would eventually be released.
Last week, we gave you a peek at the latest collaboration between Mita Sneakers and Asics. With several tempting classic running options to choose from, it was the Gel Lyte Speed that was selected to be the subject of this project. The shoe has been given its wildest look yet, using a muted grey/white upper that is contrasted by a variety of vibrant color accents. 
Recently Nike and the Penny Signature series released the second colorway of the 1/2 cent (black/metallic). But in September 2009 House of Hoops will shelve the 3rd colorway of the prestigious shoe with a reverse Metallic/black colorway. If the third installment sells anywhere near the original blue/black colorway then Nike and Penny will boast yet another success.
Jordan Brand athlete Ray Allen was recently spotted at the American Century Golf Championships in Lake Tahoe flaunting yet another perk of his enviable footwear alliance. Ray was showing off his swing all day in a pair of Air Jordan XII Low golf cleats that appear to have taken their colorway from the OG Taxi design.
We gave you a peek at this upcoming Nike SB Dunk release last week, but at the time, the inspiration behind the shoe had still not been revealed. Now it appears that these kicks have been created to pay tribute to Will Ferrell’s beloved character from the 2004 comedy, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. The Red suede upper is a nod to Burgundy’s name and his sweet newsman anchor suit.
As we’ve previously reported, Nike took inspiration from DC Comics for their Superhero Pack. So far you’ve seen the Superman Air Max BW Classic, Flash Big Nike, and just last week we posted the Batman Vandal. You can now add Green Lantern to the list of Nike’s DC Comics inspired Superhero Pack. Black nubuck and green metallic covers these Dunk Lows, making them Green Lantern approved.
In honor of the release of the film 9 that is soon to be in theaters Pony has decided to do something very cool. Anyone who has seen the previews know the movie features burlap covered robots voiced by Elijah Woods and Jennifer Connelly among others. The American footwear brand has launched a release of the Stitchpunk that is limited to 99 pairs and will be raffled off online via Hot Topic. Sounds pretty elusive huh? Well thats because they are.
Cameras were off limits in the Supra booth at the Agenda Show, but we did get permission to take a few snaps of the upcoming baby sized Supra Skytops. Currently Supra has three colors worked up that will be available from sizes 2c-10c. No release details yet, but they will soon become available at Factory413.
Taka Hayashi’s Native American-inspired Vans pack rolls on. The Vans Vault Akat LX comes to us in two brown designs. The first is a lighter shade with white stiching that we fully expected. Another offers a slightly darker chocolate brown leather and is held together with tonal stitches. Both have a strip of triangular perforations that grow as they reach toward the heel, a unique look that’s like nothing we’ve seen. 
This color combination of the Nike Air Trainer SC combines Total Orange, Light Zen Grey and Stealth on top of a white base. The colorway pays tribute to Bo Jackson’s career at the Auburn University. The colorway originally dropped back in 1989 when the Bo Knows marketing campaign was probably more popular than prime time sitcoms.
We have already given you a few previews of this luxurious Air Jordan 1 model, and now they are starting to pop up early from some eBay sellers. Say what you will about the recent overload of Air Jordan 1 colorways, but some of them are pretty hard to hate on. This version sports a Black on Black color scheme with a combination of full-grain leather, mesh and ostrich leather on the upper, giving the shoe some stylish flair despite its solid colorway. This Air Jordan 1 model is slated for an August release,
With the Nike Dynasty High set for a big comeback, could there be any better name to collaborate with than Japan’s Mighty Crown? Pictured above is the Mighty Crown x Nike Sportswear Dynasty High Premium. This design has alot going on without being over the top, thanks in large part to its all black upper. Then again, the upper is made of a combination of perforated leather and faux croc skin, plus a section with gold speckling on the mid ankle.
There are a few holidays each year in which various sneaker companies release a special shoe or pack of shoes to celebrate the holiday and festivities. One of those holidays happens to be Halloween, a holiday in which Nike has created a number of special products to celebrate the day in the past. This year, Nike will release this “Savage Beast” Air Force 1 Low that features an upper completely covered in Orange Pony Hair.

While we can’t give you specs on colors or materials we can give you a glimpse at the shoe that draws direct inspiration from the AJ2, AJ11 and AJ23. No word on when these drop but surely you knew that, what do you think?
Eric Elms continues to collaborate with hot brands within the streetwear industry, and one of his latest is with Vans. Available now at select Vans retailers including Bows & Arrows are the Vans Elms, which come in three different material make-ups including suede, canvas, and a third which features a combination of both. They will set you back about $75 which isn’t too bad
Air Max 1 fans out there will probably consider this image to be veritable shoe porn. Here we see the upcoming fall line up for the popular runner and from the looks of things its pretty exciting. We have covered most of the pairs but seeing them all together in one shot just really drives the point home that this show is a true Icon. We gave you a peek at these kicks last month, and now they are beginning to hit Nike SB retailers as a July Quickstrike. The shoe sports an off-white upper with a gum midsole and a Hot Red Swoosh.
You may have already seen this latest Dunk Low SB Premium as part of our Nike SB July ‘09 rundown, but now we finally get a closer look at this clean new offering. The shoe takes a simple approach, using a solid Varsity Blue upper and midsole with some subtle accents provided by a pale Pink Ice Swoosh, outsole and branding. In addition to the fresh color scheme, another nice touch is the perforated mid panel behind the Swoosh and your choice of Blue or Pink laces.

Lifestyle brand Supra allied with one of Las Vegas’ premier hotels, the Palms, to reveal their collaboration on the 4th of July. Using the Skytop sillhouette, Supra crafted 23 exclusive pairs for John Gray (jon.gray@palms.com)–the The Palms‘ special operations manager.
Hawaii’s In4mation recently linked with Vans to work on their second collaborative shoe, a new version of the Chukka Low. The shoe features a black canvas upper with varsity red detailing and a vulcanized gum midsole. White laces tie everything together and a houndstooth lining covers the Chukka’s innards. The In4Mation x Vans Chukka Low is set to release in November ‘09.
A fresh new colorup of the New Balance 575 has just become available at New Balance for $80. This latest colorway features a nice combination of black, red and grey. This version is a trail version that comes with a little extra ruggedness on the outsole, as well as Rollbar Technology for stability, and C-CAP cusioning for comfort.
A few years ago the people at Nike SB look to have sampled this Nike SB Blazer for one of their SB riders, Omar Salazar, who will actually be launching his own signature shoe with Nike SB in the Spring 2010 season. This SB Blazer that was never released has a striking resemblance to the Nike SB x Supreme Blazer’s that were released in extremely limited quantities worldwide a number of years ago. But we will see these in the near furture.
This fall, Jordan Brand celebrates the lifelong accomplishment of Michael Jordan’s enshrinement into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Three silhouettes were called upon to represent the legacy as well as the then and now of Michael Jordan - the Jordan 6 rings Air Jordan 1, and Air Jordan 2009. Each pair of the Jordan “Hall of Fame” Pack is uniquely styled with numbers of significance in Jordan’s career.
Frankfurt hosted the Bright Trade Show last weekend and attendees got to witness the 2010 SB line in a rather fashionable manner. Now we have all seen a few sneak peaks at the 2010 releases but we haven’t see photos from the party itself. But here you jus posted one pic up.
Supra fans should be satisfied by this post in particular. This sampling of the super high top isnt set to release until 2010 and while we dont know if this will be the final version when it does we do know that the shoe has long since been a crowd favorite and will probably be well received.
Jam may be solely responsible for our love affair with adidas. I mean sure we would have found them sooner or later in our quest to stay fresh but when Run DMC decided to pen a song about their choice of footwear we were all sold. In commemoration of their 25th Anniversary the label has linked with adidas to produce a few special edition shoes.

The air jordan sixty plus pack has gotten mixed reviews so far, some of you Jordan fans as elated to see a new hybrid from the Jordan Brand while others seem to still be stuck on the Spizike. None the less Jordan Brand will release four new Sixty Plus colorways come the Holiday 2009 Season. The four colors are inspired by four NBA teams that MJ terrorized during his career with the Chicago Bulls.
Even though a lot of Air Jordan purists turn their noses up at Jordan Fusions and hybrid models, the spiz'ikes seems to get a pass.
