NIKE SAFARI 87 QUICKSTRIKE SAMPLE

Having seen its namesake print skyrocket in popularity over the past year, the Nike Air Safari is poised for a big comeback. The first foot in the door is a pair that stays relatively close to the original Safari 87 palette. We get an array of blacks and greys accented by orange on the stitching and outsole. It’s such a delicate balance that even without white splashes, they avoid looking too much like Halloween shoes.

REEBOK HELLO KITTY

Hello Kitty fans rejoice! To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sanrio’s very own Hello Kitty, HK has teamed up with Reebok to pop champagne in style. The two brands created the Hello Kitty x Reebok Freestyle Hi INTL-LUX Kitty in two sweet colorways: white and black. Both shoes feature leather uppers which rock allover Hello Kitty designs.

LEBRON JAMES VII PINK

Earlier today, we notified you of the ongoing Project Bluefoot LeBron Design Competition which enables aspiring footwear designers the possibility of creating a LeBron signature sneaker; however, that obviously was not enough ‘King James’ news for the day. With that said, we have came across a new Air Max LeBron VII that is expected to release in the beginning of 2010

EDDIE CRUZ NIKE WEAR AIR FORCE 1

UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz wasn’t playin around when he lent his hand to the design of a pair of Air Force 1’s for the East/West rivalry pack that Nike Sportswear has going. With a beefed up Lakers color way you can tell the shoe is bangin that Westside. The purple snakeskin upper wrapped in a yellow swoosh is punctuated by a red outsole that boasts Nikes new 0.44 compound that adds traction to the sole.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 GRAND PURPLE

As of late, the grand purple color scheme has been seen on several classic Nike models, and continues here with this pair of Nike Air Force 1. They sport a predominantly grand purple colorway along with black nubuck inserts and white accents. The upper sits atop a classic white midsole and purple outsole

NIKE SB DUNK LOW ERIC KOSTON

From one sneak peak to another Eric Koston’s camp drops off a better image of his Dunk Low so that we can get a gander at the things to come. It doesn’t look like much has changed since the last time we saw them and everything from the colorway to the suede/nubuck construction is in tact. We get a better look at the outsole this time which is tinted to match the gold swoosh accenting.

NIKE SPIZIKE BOOT LIVE STRONG

Well the Spizike just keeps coming back for more and lucky for us its a considerate houseguest. As we all know the shoe has been winterized to protect against the elements and here we see a further take on the all black model we showed you earlier. This time making use of Nike’s signature yellow on the sole and lining Jordan Brand makes a splash with one of the most noticeable color ways you can conjure. We were hoping this was tied into the LIVESTRONG campaign and while no information has been released regarding to state that it is, nothing says that it isn’t

NIKE DUNK MID J-PACK

Back during the golden years of SB, anytime before 2006, Nike SB released a dunk low which was labeled under J-Pack. Later an Air Trainer II was dropped, making it a legit pack, but since then the J-Pack has been kind of forgotten. Well Nike SB did not forget, so here we get a Dunk Mid in royal blue suede and black leather. The sneaker differs greatly from its dunk low and air trainer brothers as it as more royal blue than black

ADIDAS J. SCOTT WING SNEAKER

Jeremy Scott recently did a show in London, showcasing their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. One of the stand out items in their Flinstone’s themed line up was the upcoming JS Wings sneaker. Coming out of the adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott collection, this sneaker features a reflective multicolor upper, giving the shoe a bubble in the water effect. The matching wings laced on with the lace loops/laces is always an interesting addition as well.

NIKE BLAZER HALLOWEEN

Slated to officially release sometime around Halloween is this pair of Nike Blazer Highs. Created for grade schoolers, they sport a predominantly black design along with unique Halloween graphics. The best part is that the green graphics glow in the dark! Look for them now at Millennium but stayed tuned in for their official release.

JORDAN 12 PURPLE GS

With the recent retroes of the Air Jordan XII (12) such as the Flu Games, it’s about time Jordan Brand thought of some new ideas for the iconic shoe. The Air Jordan XII GS comes in a black/varsity purple colorway. This black base shoe uses a black nubuck upper and clear patent toe. The only other contrasts to the black shoe are the ones that matter the most: the purple and teal accents. The outsole sports varsity purple to match the inner lining and Jordan tongue tag.

NIKE AIR MAX - DAY OF THE DEAD

As we saw a small glimpse of the Nike Air Max 90 Day of the Dead edition already, we’ve come upon some detailed looks of the shoe. The Nike Air max 90 DOTD sports a black leather base to set the dark tone of Halloween. Orange has been placed in the mix of the shoe and its pattern on the mudguard, along with hints of green and purple. Black mesh on the toebox and the black leather are contrasted by the purple patent leather swoosh, inner lining, and purple outsole

Cassette Playa founder Carri Munden talks with the sneaker community about the Cassette Playa x Nike Sportswear Dunk High Premium. It turns out the once previewed dunk may be destined for a release after all. NIKE BLAZER FOAMPOSITE

A few days ago, we gave you a look at a new Big Nike High that adopts the look of the Eggplant Air Foamposite on its upper, and now it’s time to check out another classic Nike model that’s also paying tribute to the Posite family. This Blazer High Premium borrows the color and foam material from the original Varsity Blue/Black Air Foamposite to blend the two styles together in a pretty fresh way.

MELANIE OUDIN CUSTOM ADIDAS

She is killing her competition in a custom PE Adidas kick featuring the words ‘Believe’ in the sole. The Adidas company is thinking about releasing them for the public, if they are smart they will market it in very limited quantities and give them a funky nick name like ‘the opens’ or ‘Oudins’. Either way, congratulations to Oudin for her success, and we are impressed by her great skills designing shoes; however, we might be more in awe over here fifteen year old boy friend’s pimp game locking her down!

NIKE SB P-ROB 3 LA DOGERS

The Nike SB P-Rod 3 is a nice release in general. A very well constructed shoe that looks great online and in person and probably feels even better. Well the stylish number is coming in a colorway that the Sunshine State is sure to love. The LA Dodger is composed of a blue suede upper with black accents. A white swoosh and midsole makes this one super clean.

LOUIS VUITTON LOW TOP STRAP

As part of their Fall / Winter 2009 collection, Louis Vuitton will be releasing this pair of Low tops. They sport a combination of leather and suede along the upper, and are shown here in a black / blue design. Finishing off the shoe is the ankle strap and mesh design on the tongue. While these are still only samples pretty sure they wont change much when they hit shelves.

NIKE AIR MAX 1 HOLIDAY 2009

Nike has run hard in the Air Max 1 this year. With a wide variety of releases this summer, the ‘87′ has dropped in a bunch of colourways, including some enhanced with Flywire. That completes a sort of cycle of legacy, as the Nike Air Max 90 was the first to be thrust into the oughts with that space age material. Both come back in looks that are both familiar and not

DJ CLARK KENT EAT VS. WEST

Chances are, we’re not going to see any stitches shed from violence, but it looks like Nike is pitting its top two classic basketball sneakers against one another in an East vs. West battle. The latest entrant is the Nike Air Force 1 High designed by frequent Swoosh collaborator DJ Clark Kent. DJCK opted for the most ‘New York’ of all colourways with this mix of black, orange and blue leathers. The first two are smooth full grain but that blue back panel has a faux-lizard feel. Add in the polka-dotted lining and these are impossible to ignore.

JORDAN VIII FUSION

A Sneakerfiles.com exclusive, we bring you the first image of the Air Force Jordan Fusion VIII in black/bright concord – aqua tone, or better known as the Aqua VIII. Like Air Force Jordan Fusions of the past, these take many direct cues from the original Air Jordan VIII (8), although the 23 is missing from the strap. The colorway is spot on, of course with slight alterations to fit the Air Force silhouette.

NIKE AIR CARNIVORE COMING SUMMER 2010

In 1993, Steven Spielberg put out the blockbuster Jurassic Park featuring a theme park with cloned dinosaurs which at the time was still a pretty radical idea. The same year, Nike put out a cross-training sneaker call the Nike Air Carnivore which may have potentially been inspired by the film. The promotional material for the sneaker calls out “Survival of the Finest”, and recently at the recent Nike Training Summit, a large info graphic calls out the shoe as “Jurassic Spark”. With its name and extreme design, even for today.

NIKE HUF AIR MAX 90'S

Back in March, we previewed this Hufquake inspired Air Max 90 Current Huarache. The silhouette of the AM90 with a Current sole is fused with a toebox and inner neoprene sock of a Huarache. Add some Nike Flywire technology and some Hufquake print and this runner is a perfect example of form meeting function.

NIKE AIR PENNY III SUMMER 2010

Yes, the ‘Liquid’ Nike Air Penny III (3) Retro dropped this past spring. Take a closer look. The pair on the left is actually purple. What’s even easier to see on the red pair is that the latest Air Penny IIIs swap out the original Orlando-friendly colours in favour of something different. While the new Nike Air Pippen retros for Summer ‘10 seem to get their orange hits from fashion alone, these could be seen as sendups of Anfernee Hardaway’s time with the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat.

NIKE 6.0 BRAAT PROM PACK

To promote Nike 6.0’s latest wakeskate project film “Aquafrolics,” Nike 6.0 has released the Nike 6.0 Braata Prom Pack. The shoe comes with a matching aqua tee shirt with a tuxedo print on it. The shoe features a black and white leather upper with red Nike swoosh stitching. It also sports black tuxedo satin material on the inner lining, and a gaudy piano key print on the midsole.

WOMEN BLAZER HIGH "GRAND PUPLE"

Today has most definitely been an especially good day for the females with respect to sneaker news. Just earlier we brought you a glimpse of the Nike Dunk High 6.0 “Purple Blueprint,” and it seems as though some inspiration has been drawn from it to the tune of this Women’s Nike Blazer High “Grand Purple.”

NIKE PIPPEN SUMMER 2010 RELEASE

Looks like the white Air Pippen’s will be making their way back to the scene next year and not only that but it looks like they will be introducing a new colorway also. The rerelease will be dropping in 2 colorways: white/black and white/orange. These crowd favorites are a long ways off tho so don’t worry about hunting them down yet

JORDAN IV 2010 RELEASE

With Infrared Air Jordan VI fever in the air, we now get a look at another upcoming colorway of the beloved classic. This version gives the Air Jordan VI one of its most unique looks yet. The shoe sports a Black upper that features sections of suede over a patent leather base. From what we can see of them, it looks like most of the color on these is concentrated onto the midsole, which uses splashes of Red, Royal Blue and Metallic Silver.
